WorkCover, TAC, DVA, Medicare and NDIS Physiotherapy in Wallan
Can Physiotherapy Help After Injury, Accident or Under a Funded Care Plan?
Yes. Physiotherapy can help people recover after workplace injuries, motor vehicle accidents, surgery, chronic health conditions and disability-related movement difficulties by assessing the problem, reducing pain where possible, improving movement and building a clear rehabilitation plan. At Wallan Physiotherapy Centre, we help eligible patients under WorkSafe, TAC, DVA, Medicare care plans and NDIS-related funding pathways.
Our focus is practical recovery: helping you understand your injury, restore function, build strength and return to work, daily activity, sport or independent movement where appropriate.
WorkSafe / WorkCover Physiotherapy
Workplace injuries can affect your ability to work, move and complete normal daily tasks. We assess and treat common work-related problems including back pain, neck pain, shoulder injuries, lifting injuries, repetitive strain, post-surgical recovery and return-to-work rehabilitation.
Physiotherapy may help by providing injury assessment, treatment, graded exercise, functional strengthening and return-to-work planning. Please bring your WorkSafe claim details, insurer information, employer details and any certificates, referrals or reports related to your injury.

TAC Physiotherapy After Motor Vehicle Accidents
TAC physiotherapy may assist after transport accident injuries such as whiplash, back pain, neck pain, shoulder pain, headaches, soft tissue injuries and post-surgical rehabilitation.
TAC can help pay for physiotherapy services within the first 90 days from the date of accident without prior TAC approval, where treatment is related to the accident injury and meets TAC requirements. After the first 90 days, further approval may be required.
Please bring your TAC claim number if available, accident details and any medical or hospital information.

DVA Physiotherapy
Wallan Physiotherapy Centre treats eligible DVA patients with a valid referral. Physiotherapy may help veterans manage pain, improve mobility, recover after surgery, maintain independence and improve strength, balance and daily function.
Please bring your DVA card, referral paperwork and any relevant medical information. DVA treatment requirements depend on your eligibility, card type and referral pathway.

Medicare Care Plans / EPC / GP Chronic Condition Management Plans
Medicare care plans may help eligible patients with chronic or complex health conditions access physiotherapy through a GP referral. These are often called EPC referrals, GP care plans or Chronic Condition Management referrals.
Physiotherapy may help with chronic back pain, arthritis, persistent pain, mobility problems, post-surgical recovery and strength or balance issues. Please arrange care plans with your GP before booking under Medicare and bring your paperwork and Medicare card.

NDIS Physiotherapy
Physiotherapy may support NDIS participants with movement, strength, balance, mobility, functional capacity and participation goals. Treatment may include exercise programs, mobility support, falls prevention, pain management strategies and rehabilitation planning.
Please contact your plan manager or support coordinator to confirm whether your NDIS funding type and goals are suitable for services at Wallan Physiotherapy Centre.
